Applications are now open for the 2027–28 Victor Elementary School District Teacher Residency, a one-year pathway to earning a master’s degree and California teaching credential.
VESD celebrated 14 scholarship recipients during the August 12 Board of Trustees meeting. Meet this year’s honorees and learn when applications will open for the Class of 2027.
The City of Victorville partnered with the Victor Elementary School District to showcase student artwork on utility cabinets across the community. After receiving 34 semi-finalist entries, we’re proud to announce the students whose designs have been selected as the winning pieces.

Puesta del Sol earned Platinum and Brentwood earned Silver in California PBIS’s statewide recognition program. These honors celebrate schools that build safe, supportive, and thriving learning environments through evidence-based practices.
Our Child Welfare & Attendance (CWAL) team makes supportive home visits—especially to TK and Kindergarten families at the start of the year—and helps all families by removing attendance barriers and connecting them with vital resources.
The Victor Elementary Education Foundation has awarded $3,500 scholarships to 11 outstanding former VESD students to support their next steps in higher education.
Brentwood and Lomitas now offer a TK–6 Independent Study program that lets students learn from home with dedicated teacher support and a district‑provided Chromebook.
